After many years of using distribution channels, Range Servant will open a local office to serve the United Kingdom directly. The UK is an important market for golf and from this local office, Range Servant will be able to sell directly, respond quickly, and easily bring their catalog of products to the marketplace.
The golf industry is changing and the range is not only a place to warm up or take a lesson, but also a business opportunity for many golf clubs. With the advancement of tracking systems, such as Trackman Range, Inrange or Toptracer Range, the volume of balls hit is increasing annually, which puts range management in the spotlight. Since this is Range Servant’s main business, i.e. picking, washing and dispensing of range balls in a carefree manner, having a local office will allow for quicker response times for support issues and the ability to bring new, innovative products much easier to the marketplace.
I’m so excited to work directly with the greatest golf-nation in the world. Our company and our brand have finally reached the point where this is possible. Nearly two years ago we hired Steven McDaniel, an enthusiastic golfer and former PGA Professional from Tennessee, US, who will be the perfect fit for leading this expansion into the future.
Range Servant Group has previously opened offices in the United States and in Sweden. In the US, sales continue to increase, and in Sweden, the ability to support local golf ranges with service is invaluable. In Sweden specifically, Range Servant technicians travel around the country visiting customers and serving machines. This adds value to the market by extending the lifespan of range equipment, as well as reducing downtime. The feedback that local customers give Range Servant also leads to better development of products, as well as new ways to support customers. This is positive for both the golf club and Range Servant Group.
It has been a pleasure to sell directly to the Swedish market over the past 3 years. The Range Servant Group is full of expertise and knowledge with regard to range development, which we have taken full advantage of. This has lead to greater interest around developing the golf range as well as a more satisfied customer base. I am very happy to see that we will start the same journey in the UK.
